Jenna Nestman comes to us from a little town on the West Coast of Canada called the Sunshine Coast. An avid athlete her whole life, always playing multiple sports at once while growing up, she set off to the University of British Columbia after highschool to pursue her Track and Field ambitions.
After hanging up her spikes she realized her goals as an athlete had not yet been actualized. Diving head first into Triathlon with the ambition to turn pro in the 70.3 distance she came up short in her first season by mere minutes. Determined to set out to accomplish what she knew she could lead her to some bike specific testing and within months Jenna was on the Track and loving every second of it. She hung up her goggles and her runners and went all in on the bike.
Winning her first ever Track Race which just happened to be at the Canadian National Championships, propelled Jenna down her new path. Since that first year on the bike in 2016, Jenna has seen multiple podium finishes on the track at Canadian Nationals. With only a few years on the road thus far she has seen much success there as well, with handfuls of podium finishes at Tour de Concord, Sea Otter Classic, Provincial Championships and multiple top 10 finishes at Nationals, Redlands Classic and Valley of the Sun, to name a few.
Jenna is super excited to support her new team in criterium racing and can’t wait for the 2023 season!
