27-year-old Leigh Dukeman was born and raised in Bloomington, Indiana. Leigh grew up competing in multiple sports having success in Track and Cross Country – currently still holding one of her high school records.
Leigh discovered cycling during her junior year of college at Indiana University. Her first race was in 2016 at the iconic Little 500 racing for her sorority. After graduating Indiana with a B.S. in Speech and Hearing Sciences, Leigh decided to continue her education at Lindenwood University, earning her MBA, while racing for their varsity cycling team. While at Lindenwood, Leigh earned multiple national medals racing across four disciplines for the team: Track, Mountain Bike, Cyclocross, and Road.
In 2018, Leigh went from a Cat 3 to a Cat 1 in Road in one season, winning multiple races across the Midwest. In 2019, Leigh started racing gravel events and has since earned multiple podiums and wins in gravel races across the Midwest and Northeast.
Leigh currently lives in Indianapolis, IN where she works as a Marketing Media Specialist. In her free time, Leigh enjoys board games, trying different Indianapolis coffee shops and breweries, and visiting National Parks.
